Neat! We're doing figure drawing in my class and I'm looking up different ways of doing things to keep it interesting for me- this is very cool. Love the colors.

left hand all the way! i love this piece... i think using your opposite hand gives it a very fresh and unrefined quality...

Awh thanks, glad you like it. I like drawing left handed too. It makes it more challenging.

I live the vitality in this Laurie! Curious as to whether you laid down those rich washes before or after the line drawing? Barrie

I must try that some time. It would be awful to discover I'm better with my left hand after all these years! Lovely line work though conveying a feeling of roundedness so well.

Thank-you and do try it. I find that the line quality is different from my better hand. I will draw with my opposite hand time to time to get the effect

You're welcome. Will indeed try it sometime. Although for a control freak like me it will be a great sacrifice to detail!!:faint:

This is true. I also like the quality of the line which is different from my opposite hand.

yes, i agree, it is not unlike when you do a blind-line contour drawing.

Actually I use my other hand for quite a few things and draw with it when I get bored. It slows me down and I have to work harder for control. You should try it.
