I'm not sure how I feel about this site anymore.  Don't get me wrong,  I love my supporters and followers and I thank you all for the words of encouragement.  I also enjoy the art you make.   However, I do find that on Deviant Art there is alot of art that seems not of my taste or something that doesn't  impact or effect me but it still get tons of favs, rave reviews and or a daily deviation acceptance (whatever that is).   I guess I'm not getting it.  I agree that at times I can and do make work that is not my best, but then again there are times my art comes out really well (yes I am tooting my own horn).  When I do a good job, it seems that it gets less reviews, looks, favs, etc then work that I consider "junk".  Humm... my thoughts.  I'm not sure where I'm going with this.  Initially when I joined DA I loved the contests and participating in them.  Even those have change, requiring  more and more digital art.  What ever happened to "traditional art" ??  The contests have also been fewer and far between and substandard.  

Ok I guess that's enough ranting.  What do you think?  Please reply.
